"I was hooked ... I took a Particular Risk, and I'm glad I did."

- Mark Cofta, Broad Street Review

The ensemble's Particular Risk is a collaboratively created whirlwind of movement, theater, and music that follows the footprints of political corruption in the notorious boardwalk town of Asbury Park, NJ. In this psychedelic noir, composer Rachel Ishikawa’s original score introduces a distinctly cinematic, synth-heavy style on top of the temporal setting of 1971. Featuring live vocal performance woven deftly through the thread of the play, Particular Risk uses the unexpected to subvert classic film noir tropes and explores the deeply and famously divided beach town of Asbury Park.
